I Just Had My First Flight – Here Are 7 Trending I Saw At The Airport

Between moving to different cities and traveling for work and pleasure, I often take flights all the time and I feel like my flight is really slowing down, including the clothes I will wear. After putting travel on pause for the last year and a half, however, I definitely felt out of practice everything from what would be wrapped to what I was actually wearing on the plane. I took my first flight in a while, and I noticed some cute new airports that inspired me for the next time I book a trip somewhere.

Matching sets on all forms is one of the things I've noticed. Instead of different sweatpant sets, I saw fresh versions like raised loungewear sets and matching knits in cool prints and colors. I also noticed a lot of great basics like large button-downs and athletic shorts that were styled forward but comfortable ways and rethink my future appearance. Ahead, seven cute airport walkways that will fool for a foolproof trip.

I can personally vouch for this amazing set. I love the full set, as it’s a fun look to wear for a flight, but I also wear a crop top with nylon shorts.

This outfit proves how attractive a pair of slouchy pants is with the addition of a few other basics. Dressing comfortably has never looked cooler.

To really enhance your appearance at the airport, but still be comfortable, plissé is the way to go. It immediately reads as polished and elegant, but you’re really fooling everyone because it also feels like slipping into pajamas.

Shorts sets usually ruled summer dressing, and that's true at the airport. I love the idea of wearing a bold color like the burnt orange set from The Frankie Shop that went viral recently.

Ready to take your fun pattern pieces on a flight? Cool, because they pretty much took the departure terminal to LAX and felt like a fun way to start a travel wardrobe.

If you're traveling between two different climates, you'll definitely want to wear layers. I wore my leather blazer with pretty much everything and I think it’s a major staple shot when traveling.

Who knew athletic shorts would be a favorite piece among fashion people? There is no doubt they are, and I can’t imagine a more comfortable look to travel.

Next, seven things I always wear (and seven I skip) after living in NYC, Paris, and L.A.
