If you look at recent runways or clothes that open the range of fashions, there is one basic trend that is impossible to ignore: belly chains. I know, maybe not what you expect – but the trend of 2000 is back and stronger than ever. I will admit that the accessory scared me the first time and did not fit in my closet, but I was suddenly convinced to give it a second chance.
I think the change of heart goes down in style. When belly chains first came to my radar in the & # 39; 00s, they were worn by other trends I avoided, such as low-rise pants and sweaty sweatshirts, but we see them paired with more polished looks. With Chanel, belly chains were added to skirts, bikinis, and jeans. In Jacquemus, with a cropped cardigan and sweater. In Dior, with knit sweater and logo pants. And fashion people have their very chic ways of styling them.
Finally warming up to the trend of the abdominal chain myself, I decided to give it a try. Ahead, check out how I was wearing it, where I found inspiration, along with lots of great shopping options if you are ready to add this fun piece to your wardrobe. I call it It-accessory for 2021.
Over the past several seasons, the belly chain trend has made a confident return to designer collections. We’ve seen a range of ways to style the accessory, so there are plenty of looks to redefine the runway.
