As someone who usually lives in jeans I'm not one to pass a great denim trend. We’ve touched on some of the biggest jean trends of this era, from vintage washes to distressed denim, but so far one of my favorites has been the return of silhouettes in the 70s – styles of flares, boot -cuts, and wide feet – thanks to designers like Celine, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Gucci who won the run on the runways. The unsparing jean trend has been seen in full ' gram on some of our favorite influencers and celebrities . Nowadays, the trending silhouette calls for full length jeans with pants-like wide legs and a high waist rise. There are many cool and modern iterations of the ' 70s trends on the market today, such as wider leg styles and boot-cut silhouettes. There is something that suits every taste and body type. Wanting to find the best flare jeans to add to my arsenal this season, I tried a plethora of different brands and styles and found the 11 below that were the most appropriate. Read on to check out my absolute favorites to invest today. (And for reference, I'm 5'6 "and usually wear a size 27.) Agolde has long been an editor's favorite (we all own this pair), so I ' m excited try its new high-rise flares. They are made of 100% organic cotton, which is very soft to the touch. The medium color of indigo is absolutely perfection and has a natural vintage look. These are an easy everyday pair of jeans that I will wear over and over again this season. Slvrlake jeans are fast becoming one of my favorite new denim brands for modern and cool silhouettes. This pair has a subtler, less exaggerated flare and a high waist, creating a super-flattering and ultra-wearable silhouette. They’re perfect if you’re looking for durable denim that isn’t too stiff. If you're looking for a wider silhouette, these best -selling Levi's Ribcage jeans are a must. The fashion crowd loves, they feature a very high waist and non-stretch denim. They all come in different colors, but I particularly love this frosty ecru color, which looks chic paired with similar colors. These Paige jeans are super soft and seriously comfortable. They have a more defined flare leg, which looks great on toe boots and sneakers like. The faded dark denim has a vintage feel that can be easily worn at work or for a night out. I live in (and love) these jeans this weekend. They have a more relaxed fit by the leg and a subtle boot-cut silhouette, making them very hard and easy to throw on my tees and sneakers. I love the vintage blue color, and the light stress adds a cool girl touch. Retro Francoise Frame jeans look like my legs are extra long (main win!) And come in an extra stretch of denim, which is incredibly easy to move. The pocket details add a unique touch that feels kept different from my other jeans. I recommend wearing them with heels (if you don’t get the hem). I've always enjoyed choosing H&M denim, and you can't beat its budget prices. These stretch-flare jeans fit nicely on the leg. They are mid -rise and not too long so look great on sneakers and low heels. Not bad for $ 30. Okay, move, black skinny jeans. These ultra-disturbing flares from Mother are topping my wardrobe this season. They are crazy comfortable (great for dancing on, FYI) and feature a tall silhouette and exposed buttons. Perfect to wear with heels and a statement blouse for an evening out. Citizens of Mankind is one of my favorite denim brands because of the great quality and fit. I will wear its jeans practically every other day, so I ' m excited to try a new silhouette from the brand. If you ' re looking for a less exaggerated flare, this boot-cut silhouette is a great way to easily get into the trend of the ' 70s. I adore the easy -to -wear faded wash, and they are more comfortable. And if you tend to prefer a mid-rise fit, these are the perfect choice. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, if a more exaggerated wide leg is right for you, the Citizens of Humanity Annina Trousers are a great choice. Great for all body types, the tall cinched waist and long, silhouette pants show off an effortlessly smooth look.
