Skip: Neon Colors. Wearing: Chunky Knee-High Boots. “While I’ve seen a lot of cool fashion people wear shoes that are finished in bold shades like electric green and yellow, they don’t fit the color palette that I usually wear, so I feel like they’re going to be a short- living piece in my closet. Instead, chunky high-knee boots sit at the top of my wish list. They're practical with a dose of cool. " Skip: Oxfords. Wearing: Clogged. "I like to love oxford shoes. I prefer them a little bit when they're fun, chunky lug soles, but if I have to rank my favorite shoe styles, they'll fall off the list. The shoes that top the list that rank right now is clogs. All I want to do is bush in a couple of clogs! "
Skipping Stilettos: Strappy . Suot: Chunky Loafers. "Strappy stilettos aren't particularly relevant in my life right now for obvious reasons, so I've been more focused on everyday shoe trends lately. I've always been a big loafer man, and the chunky, ' 90s inspired by those trending this season feel especially cool. There are many great designers on the market, but I think these Mangos are as good as any. "[19459010 [19459022 Skipping: Flat Ankle Boots. Wearing: Chunky Ankle Boots. "I'm tied to ankle boots with a flat single or low heel. If it's not chunky and a platform, I don't like it. I love the edge added to an outfit and, of course, the added height ! " [19459007 Skipping: High-Heel Pumps. Wearing: Rubber Boots. "I drive away with ultra-high-heel pumps and boots now, especially when it ' s about the comfort and practicality I have these days. Instead, I choose rubber bottles that I wrap with slouchy socks. and clothing —Perfect for strengthening the elements of winter. " Skipping: Dad Sneakers. Wearing: Throwback Sneakers. "I'm done with chunky daddy's sneakers. I think the trend has run. I always find clunky, not-very-distracting sneakers confusing, and instead, I look at ' 80s-inspired of throwback sneakers that are more wearable. These streamlined silhouettes typically have suede trims and gum soles, making them a high pick that can be worn with leggings and jeans. " ] Skipping: Platform Heels. Suot: Flatforms. "Last spring, the 2020 runways were filled with platform heels, and I love a good heel, but realistically, it pretty much takes until I slip into anything that's far uncomfortable. That said, those flatform, their shorter and cozier cousin, is something I’m interested in trying in 2021. In sneaker, boot, or sandal form, a little help without the discomfort of walking on heels is something I can do in the rear . " Skipping: Colorful Shoes. Wearing: Neutral Boots. "Right now, I'm not investing in any strong prints or colors because I just want super simple, go-to shoes while we're still talking quarantines. For fall and winter, that means black or white boots with low heels because I can actually wear them every day. " Skipping: Sock Boots. Wearing: Chunky Chelsea Boots. "I'm a little tired of the sock-boot trend at this point. Instead, I'm all about chunky, flat Chelsea boots. Practical and chic."
