Renée Zellweger Stages a Comeback on the April 2022 Issue of Harper’s Bazaar

Our love/hate relationship with Samira Nasr continues with every issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Despite managing to secure A-list talent for the magazine’s front covers, we haven’t been thrilled with recent offerings featuring Venus and Serena Williams, Nicole Kidman and Beyoncé. Although we adored covers with Hunter Schafer and Tracee Ellis Ross. Now Renée Zellweger returns to the mag. The actress was last profiled for the publication way back in 2007. Renée rocks Louis Vuitton for cover one (below) and poses in Celine for cover two (after the jump) before the lens of photographer Mel Bles.

As usual, members of our forums aren’t sold. “Million times better than last month, but not good,” confessed caioherrero.

“Dreadful,” declared mikel.

“Samira Nasr’s styling is subpar, she should have let other better stylists do the job. I’ve already moved on from Samira. Her tenure feels … Read more

If You Want Your Skin to Look Like an IRL Filter, We Got You

Few products are as important as concealer. Did an unexpected blemish arrive overnight? Concealer is there in the morning to do its job. Have a late night? Concealer will erase the evidence, no questions asked. Even when skin is just feeling blah, concealer instantly boosts its radiance. That’s just what concealer does. When it’s good, you can always count on it. But sadly, all formulas aren’t created equal. Sometimes they cake. Sometimes they crease. And worst of all, sometimes they don’t last. The horror!

Good news: None of those horrors apply to the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer ($36). The formula is crease resistant and highly pigmented. It conceals dark circles and imperfections like a pro, and it stays put, especially when paired with the Vanish Airbrush Primer ($56) and Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick ($48). So it should come as no surprise that five Who What Wear editors—five!Read more

During Nicolas Ghesquière’s career at Louis Vuitton, we’ve witnessed everyone from Bruce Weber to Steven Meisel to Collier Schorr to Patrick Demarchelier serve as the brand’s campaign photographer. Recently, the label seems to have settled on David Sims. Following last season‘s triumphant offering captured on the majestic pebbled beaches of Normandy, we’re back in the comfort of the studio for Spring 2022. Actresses HoYeon Jung, Stacy Martin and Samara Weaving appear alongside journalist Agathe Rousselle, singer Lous and the Yakuza plus models Mona Tougaard, Kristine Lindseth, Rianne Van Rompaey, Fleur Breijer, Ida Heiner and Chu Wong all posing against colorful backdrops.

In the eyes of our forum members, however, this season feels like a huge setback. “Even looking past those clip art lens flares, this is awful,” WinstonH20 expressed the moment the campaign dropped.

“I hate the tacky lens flare, like who thought that was a good … Read more

The Classic Dress Style That's in Every French Girl's Closet—Guaranteed

There’s no denying that French girls are some of the most stylish people on the planet. Steering away from the rapid-paced trend cycle to embrace more timeless wardrobe staples, they have a no-fuss and incredibly chic approach to getting dressed. With that in mind, if there’s one classic dress style they’re guaranteed to bust out of their closets this season, it’s the ever-flattering A-line dress. But what actually is an A-line dress? Essentially, it’s a term used to describe any dress with a form-fitting bodice, a defined waist, and a skirt that gradually flares out to the hem, creating a triangular shape like the capital letter A. Unlike empire waists or loose dresses, the A-line silhouette creates the illusion of a narrower waist and wider hips, making it one of the most flattering styles to exist, no matter your body type. In the spirit of embracing our inner French girl
