I Cry Every Time I See These Shoes at the Airport

I don't know about you, but I often look at people's shoes, especially when I'm traveling. And over the past year, there’s one particular style of shoe that I keep seeing on people’s feet. If you think of flip-flops we are on the same page. What kills me is that there are so many shoe styles out there that are as easy and comfortable as flip-flops but more protected on your feet.

I wanted to know how to flip-flop rank in spectrum of airport practicality from the experts themselves, so I contacted TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein and a flight attendant for a major airline. Farbstein pointed out that although you can ' t certainly wear flip-flops to an airport, “These are thin soles, [and] they still need to be removed at the TSA checkpoint, which usually means no wearing feet. on the floor." So simplifying the security process for wearing them is certainly not a valid reason.

The flight attendant told me, “Since flip-flops are good to slide into the pool, as a flight attendant, they are not the shoes of my choice when exploring a new city.I asked what he thought of wearing them to the airport and flying with them, to which he replied, "I mean it ' s sort of gross. Lots of bacteria. Wearing flip-flops, you can have blisters and then bacteria can enter. your feet. "Yeah, right?

Instead of flip-flops, here are six shoe styles that are better options for the airport. See which celebs travel with them and shop the ones style below.

You really can't go wrong with just wearing a pair of cool sneakers to the airport.
