What did you try?
Dry brushing the body daily before bathing. Technically you don't have to take a bath afterwards, but since I know I get rid of dead skin, I thought it best to do it before showering.
Why did you try this?
Dry body brushing daw. to have many benefits, such as smoother skin, detoxifies the body, improves the appearance of cellulite, and increases circulation. This is something I always do occasionally but not regularly.
How did you prepare thoroughly? already owns a body brush and doesn’t have to buy it, but they are easily accessible at many stores, including Amazon.
What happened to the whole process?
Before showering, I use my brush in long and short circular motions towards slow motion in my heart. places. I focused and put more emphasis on the back of my thighs because dry brushing is said to help with cellulite.
Years ago, I had a body brush with only bristles, and then had it for in a couple of years, I decided to buy a brush with soft nodes to try. I quickly found out that I didn’t like the nodes and I preferred the brush with just natural bristles. I think I would enjoy the 30-day experience more if I had a brush that I prefer.
Some days my skin is more sensitive than expected, and I have to be a little mild in my strokes.
How did you feel then? What kind of changes have you noticed?
Softer skin is an obvious side effect because I physically exfoliate my entire body every day. I’m not sure about its being detoxify, but I believe it! It helped with cellulite, but I have to admit that mine was very small in the beginning. Honestly, I don't think dry body brushing is a magical cure to cellulite.
What did you like about it?
I enjoyed the feeling of entering into my ordinary routine in this moment of self -care. There are days I do the whole ritual here by putting on a face mask, wearing my clothes and slippers, enjoying a cup of lukewarm lemon water, and even letting steam fill my bathroom before enter. I even extend my post-brushing shower with a face scrub and some luxe lotion after I brush with a towel. I made spa my home.
What didn't you like?
I didn't like that it was an extra step before showering. This may seem a contradiction to what I said I liked most about it, but even though some days I wish I was treating myself, there really are also days when I just want to jump in the shower without spending extra time drying out. my body. brush first.
Will you try it again?
Any advice for anyone thinking of trying it?
I think the best thing about it is it doesn't have to be long -everyday things. Even if you do this a few times per week, there are still benefits. It’s an easy way to stimulate your body without having to, say, go out for a run. It’s not exactly the same, but hey! Somehow you have something .
