The editorial director of Who What Wear, Lauren Eggertsen understood the assignment when she moved from her shared apartment in New York City to a one-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles complete with five cupboards.
No, that's not an exaggeration.
From an entire wardrobe dedicated to shoes (we'll show that in our next apartment) to his epic collection of coat statements Eggertsen's wardrobe is crowded. -Wapped with stylish staples that will last a lifetime.
Not only are we envious of the fact that Eggertsen was able to dedicate an entire wardrobe to sneakers, boots, and heels, but he also divided his wardrobe into careful categories, making it easy to organize. Sweatshirts and outwear live in a closet; clothes to another; separates the third; shoes on the fourth; and his "life in New York" long coats that he would never part with the fifth.
Are you already jealous of all the closet space?
Eggertsen's collection includes the stunning Bottega Veneta bag that he literally poured when he bought it. “It’s just one of those iconic designer pieces that you’ve invested in and you keep forever,” he says.
Eggertsen appreciates his new design pieces, but he also loves to catch second pieces, like a pair of ' 70s- inspired Prada pants he got at The RealReal. “I wore them just a white tank and my Converse and called it a day,” he added.
Oh, and Eggertsen doesn't own any Converse —he owns two pairs that a $ AP Rocky was even seen wearing that fire on the edges.
There's no doubt about it: Eggertsen's closet is real fire.
