Disclaimer: When speaking of fine jewelry the word "affordable" is very relative. Metals like 14-carat gold and diamond and other real gemstones don’t really come from, but some jewelry brands have figured out how to streamline the process, whether they use of direct-to-consumer manufacturing or have thought of other ways to keep their cost overhead, therefore keeping their price points.
Over the past few years, I have worked to save money that I normally spend on costume jewelry and invest it in fine jewelry . Although fine metals seem to be getting more expensive, the jewelry brands I’ve bought from lately all have pieces that are cheaper than some costume jewelry. And even if some don’t, it inspires me to know that I’m spending a little more on high-quality pieces that I’ll possibly wear for decades as opposed to the ones I can throw away or give away after a while.
With this, keep scrolling to shop my nine favorite jewelry brands with stylish, relatively affordable pieces.
There's a good chance you're already familiar with Mejuri (it's famous), but I'll sing praises anyway. The Mejuri pieces I own are some of the most worn in my jewelry collection, including the chain ring and gold hoops pictured below. The brand introduces new pieces weekly, so there’s always plenty to choose from.
Stone and Strand is one of my favorite places to shop for wallet-friendly ones piece of diamond. It usually uses a lot of pavé stones, which makes a ton of sparkle but not a ton of money. See what I mean below.
Wolf Circus is what you would call demi-fine jewelry, meaning it uses sterling silver and 14 -karat gold plating for its pieces and real gemstones and pearls (but no diamonds). Canadian brand pieces are particularly stylish and prices are particularly low.
Complete Networks is another of my favorite demi-fine brands, though it also has stunning pieces of fine-jewelry (including engagement rings). I also can’t tell you how many compliments I get when I wear pieces of it. They are very cool and unique. You will see…
White / Space Jewelry is an LA -based brand that I recently discovered, and I am thoroughly obsessed. The pieces are modern and sculptural but still wearable for everyday, and the brand uses sustainable skills and materials.
Verlas is a new brand in the jewelry scene with a stunning variety of customizable engagement rings and timeless fine pieces of jewelry that are sure to be heirlooms along the way. I was particularly attracted to the brand’s diamond earrings, La Fleur’s delicate collection, and drop-jaw tennis bracelets.
The prices of of VRAI are very good sometimes I have to double check to make sure one piece is 14-carat gold. (All of them.) Sustainable brand engagement rings and fine jewelry are delicate but large and would be a great addition to a jewelry collection.
Kinn is one of my favorite new discoveries, and I think it will be yours as well . Scrolling through its stock, I couldn’t find a piece I didn’t wear, from dome rings to beautiful chain necklaces.
Wwake is another brand you may have heard of, as it is famous for making cool again of opal and for the stunning fine inspiration of this constellation. The NYC-based brand is also mindful of maintenance, and if you’re looking for a special engagement ring consider this your hot tip.
Après Jewelry is one of my favorites for the basics. I wear the small encrusted brand on my second and third holes every day, and it has many other items that are comfortable enough to even sleep, not to say beautiful and timeless. It also makes engagement rings that you can custom design.
